SDF Events team aims to create unique and memorable experiences to attract new business partners and developers to build on Stellar, nurture its existing ecosystem, showcase its growing number of products, and create stronger brand awareness in a constantly evolving industry. As a Field Marketing & Events Manager (contract), you’ll be part of the Marketing team reporting directly to the CMO. You’ll be working cross-functionally within the marketing team and across SDF and with external vendors. This role will primarily focus on all major third-party conferences that SDF sponsors and participates in and you’ll leverage your expertise in the industry to align with the company’s objectives, build and maintain strong relationships, drive engagement and pipeline, analyze and report on post-event performance.

To succeed, you will be proactive, data-driven, extremely organized and detail oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and scrappy environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Craft a comprehensive annual sponsorship strategy and work internally across multiple stakeholders including communications, partnerships, developer relations, ventures, product marketing, digital, and creative teams to represent our brand and align with the company’s objectives.
  • Be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of high impact blockchain, crypto, and fintech industry events (in-person and virtual) to create new businesses, drive pipeline, and drive brand awareness.
  • Own the overall event campaigns, including the logistics and operations internally as well as externally with third party conference organizers and vendors, oversee the speaker coordination with the communications team, manage budget, venue selection as needed, digital marketing including email marketing and events calendar updates, social promotions, registration, production, marketing collateral, final event delivery/onsite execution, and post event wrap up.
  • Track event results and metrics to measure success and deliver post-event performance. Share actionable insights and recommendations on future tactics.
  • Research, identify, and stay up to date on industry trends globally to recommend strategic positioning and sponsorships YoY and bring innovative ideas and best practices.
  • Domestic and international travels may be required.

You have:

  • 3+ years of related marketing event experience in a B2B environment
  • Previous sponsorship experience working on small and large conferences
  • Excellent project management and organization skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in sometimes very short turnaround time
  • Strong sense for details and hands-on on projects
  • Knowledge of event technologies including registration systems
  • Experience with marketing automation tools like Hubspot
  • Must be metrics driven and be a strategic thinker
  • Proactively bring creative ideas with a strong focus on customer experience, engagement, growth
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels aligned with SDF’s values

The Senior Compliance Officer will work closely in cooperation with our group Director of Risk and Compliance in managing the ongoing organisational and operational compliance with the applicable laws, guidelines and best practices with the main focus on the Liechtenstein and EEA regulations and supervisory practices on the investment services. What you will be doing:
    • Monitor the compliance with the Liechtenstein legal acts and supervisory guidelines. You will be our eyes on the ground in Liechtenstein and responsible for ensuring compliance on the national level.
    • Together with the group compliance team, development and implementation of a comprehensive group-wide compliance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Draft and monitor the implementation of the internal policies in all areas relevant to investment services and financial service providers, including laws related to providing investment services, the AML/CTF/sanctions and fraud area, the general risk management area, and Liechtenstein national laws on investment services.

At least some of the experience must be managerial or executive level. Experience in a company under regulatory supervision of the Liechtenstein authorities or in an investment firm are a strong plus.
    • Strong knowledge of the EU and Liechtenstein investment firm, financial and crypto regulatory frameworks, industry standards and supervisory practices. Knowledge of the UK or Swiss regulatory framework, MiFID II, or good understanding of payment processes are all a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of the EU and Liechtenstein AML, CTF, sanctions and fraud regulations, as well as basic knowledge of the general risk management area.

Requirements

The Role
We are looking for an Associate General Counsel, Transactions to join our legal team. About The Role

We are searching for an experienced and self-driven Investor Relations Lead to join our team. As the Investor Relations Lead, you will build out a world-class investor relations program. As an excellent communicator, this role will be a thought leader in shaping Aptos’s investor messaging and in establishing the financial narrative externally. This is a highly visible role and will partner closely with executive leadership, finance, legal, marketing, communications and other groups across Aptos.

You will be working closely with our Head of Strategy as well as our CEO as you build out our investment function. As a Member of Compliance, Transaction Monitoring, you’ll be provided the opportunity to work in various blockchain analytics and behavioral transaction monitoring systems (e.g., TRM Labs, Jira TMS, etc.), being on the front lines of implementing and developing the most advanced and regulated transaction monitoring program in the digital asset industry. You are recognized as an expert within the transaction monitoring systems and can apply that expertise to have significant influence within and outside of the team. As the Global Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, you are responsible for developing and overseeing the global compliance strategies for multiple Anchorage Digital entities and Compliance shared services, including but not limited to the trading, yield, settlement, staking, prime brokerage, lending businesses. The Compliance Officer will also be responsible for overseeing and managing pending licensing applications with the NY Department of Financial Services, FINRA, and other jurisdictional regulatory agencies.
You are a compliance and financial crimes subject matter expert in brokerage services and compliance matters related to trading and lending to provide direct expertise and guidance to various entities in their initial phases to help them grow and mature.
You also contribute strategically across the Anchorage Digital enterprise in the development of compliance practices that support Anchorage Digital’s mission. This includes direct oversight of the company-wide training, conduct, and complaints policies and programs, as well as the policies and procedures framework.
You have managerial oversight of the Anchor Labs Compliance team, which services primarily trading and brokerage related entities, with dotted line oversight of international compliance teams. As our first Data Science hire focusing on Machine Learning at Circle, you’ll start by focusing on two critical problems: helping identify transactions and actors who might be acting illicitly and helping us better balance our reserves across a series of accounts to reduce systemic risk inside the company. These problems are core to our identity as a safe and compliant actor in the crypto space and we are trying to come up with the best methods and techniques possible to solve these problems. In addition, we would like you to undertake additional research and work to help understand these problems, visualize what we’re doing, as well as sometimes venture into other spaces to help understand how our business works. While the focus of this job will be machine learning applications, there are times where we need to use data science to solve other problems and machine learning is not the only or optimal option.

  • Own development, improvement, and maintenance of the two problems described above: helping identify transactions and actors who might be acting illicitly and helping us better balance our reserves across a series of accounts to reduce systemic risk inside the company. You’ll partner with product, treasury, fellow data scientists, and data engineering to understand these problems, help produce the necessary model inputs, build models at the right fidelity and frequency, help push these into production, and monitor the health and success of these models.

This person will advise internal stakeholders on implementation and development of CFTC, and NFA swap dealer requirements, including day-to-day oversight and program enhancements relating to policies and procedures, employee training, risk assessments, issues management, governance and management reporting, and metrics.

    Our department prevents, detects and mitigates compliance and regulatory risks across the firm and helps to strengthen our culture of compliance. As a company involved in digital assets, this role will also be relied on for training and knowledge sharing. The team monitors existing and new rules and regulations; designs and implements controls, policies, procedures and training to all colleagues. We look for those who possess sound judgment, curiosity, and are able to adapt to a changing regulatory digital asset landscape.

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 10+ years of legal or compliance experience/background preferably with investment or commercial bank, law firm, consulting firm or regulatory organization.
    • Demonstrated experience with the implementation and execution of swap dealer compliance program at a registered swap dealer.
    • Demonstrated understanding of the requirements of the Dodd-Frank Act and associated regulations relating to swap dealers, including applicable CFTC, NFA and FRB rules and regulations.
    • Experience interacting with regulators, in particular, CFTC, NFA, and FRB.

    Education & Additional Experience:
