Technical Skills

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end Revenue Accounting and Billing Operations function, including all aspects of accurate and timely revenue recognition, billing, collections, and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain revenue recognition policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP that align with the company’s business model and revenue streams, including client payments in both fiat and cryptocurrency.

• Coordinating regulatory initiatives across a team of highly talented Compliance Officers and Money Laundering Reporting Officers throughout Europe;
• Preparing regular reports to senior management regarding compliance matters;
• Collaborating and coordinating various regulatory filings, including MiCA and developing appropriate European compliance policies and procedures;
• Focusing on internal compliance policy reviews, including ongoing assessments, assisting with compliance reviews, internal audit reviews and ongoing or ad hoc reviews;

Requirements:

• At least 5 years directly related experience in a legal or compliance role with substantial knowledge of relevant rules and regulations and the day-to-day compliance affairs in local and regional jurisdictions;
• An undergraduate degree or relevant work experience is required, a law degree is a plus and an advanced degree is preferred;
• Great organisational skills;
• Strong communication skills, demonstrated ability to write effectively in English;
• Extensive experience dealing with European regulators and banking partners;

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project documents (e.g. kick-off, road map, status updates, RAID log, steering committees, gap analysis etc.) to ensure proper control framework
• Oversee engagement and deployment of vendor solutions globally and work with global compliance managers to set up new processes
• Coordinate with global and regional team to lead change and best-practices, as well as perform read-across to identify gaps and driving projects to close the gaps

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Finance, Legal, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3-5 years of experience in project management at a financial institution or fintech company
• Knowledgeable of Sanctions and vendor solutions
• PMP certification required, PRINCE2 or other certifications will be an advantage
• Experience working with directly with an independent compliance monitor or financial regulators preferred
