The Role

Key Responsibilities

Summary

The Event Content Manager will be a key player in helping to conceptualize and execute multiple track content programs for SDF’s annual conference: Meridian. You will be reporting to the Director of Events.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the Marketing team and the Chief of Staff, you’ll be building and managing compelling event agenda and program for SDF’s annual conference: Meridian
  • Craft session topics, titles, and descriptions, and brainstorm innovative session formats to captivate and engage event attendees and audiences.
  • Research, review and engage with relevant, new and interesting speakers (both inside and outside of the industry and ecosystem).
  • Create and manage detailed speaker contacts and program details in spreadsheets and various related assets.
  • Attend, brief, and participate in session prep calls with moderators and speakers.

The Role:

As a Senior Quantitative Developer, you will build and maintain major technical features, through inception, design, implementation and launch, working closely with product and engineering disciplines across the company. The Compliance function at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We’re a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and enterprise risk.
Our Token Listings team, in particular, is responsible for performing comprehensive due diligence and enhanced due diligence reviews of all tokens being considered for listing.
What You’ll be Doing:
You will lead a team responsible for conducting compliance reviews of tokens being considered for listing on OKGroup’s exchanges around the globe, including but not limited to performing due diligence on the project, project teams and product use cases, and evaluating related risks. In this role you will:

Responsibilities
    • Development activities include full stack development, proposing architectural decisions, participating in designs, design review, code review and implementation of products bridging [Crypto.com](http://crypto.com/) to developers and end-users;
    • Develop prototypes for new fiat payment network or platform concept proposed by you and the team;
    • You are the owner of your projects. We are open-minded to new technologies and you can try-out different things here;
    • Identify issues and implement solutions to complex problems in large-scale backend infrastructure and web platforms;
    • Management of documentation of all code and functionalities implemented;
    • Work closely with DevOps and Infra team to improve tech stack for long-term engineering initiatives.
Requirements

Your main responsibilities will be the following :

    • Ability to take ownership of projects and concisely turn legal analysis into action
Preferred Requirements
    • Prior experience with, detailed knowledge of, and a passion for blockchain technology
    • Ability to present complex compliance and regulatory issues in a clear and concise manner and provide succinct, practical and results-oriented legal advice
    • Experience counseling non-lawyer clients in the blockchain industry or consumer technology industry
    • Familiarity with legal regimes impacting the decentralised finance industry and experience with open-source software licensing

Chainlink Labs is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to join our Legal Team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing vendor agreements, M/NDAs, and Intellectual Property (IP) documents. We are seeking a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and a keen eye for detail. As a key stakeholder in the Procurement process, the right candidate will not only manage risk but also improve our processes. With a focus on ownership and efficiency, the Contracts Manager will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Procurement, Security, Finance, and the business.
Objectives of this Role
    • Own legal review, analysis, and counterparty negotiation of all vendor agreements, escalating issues as needed.
    • Own legal review of M/NDAs
    • Manage the review of all IP documents, administer the IP portfolio, and support administrative tasks.
    • Manage the Repository for all company agreements, ensuring that metadata is correct for all new filings.
    • Propose and implement efficiency improvements, revisions to playbooks, and risk reduction measures in the Procurement process.
    • 2 – 4+ years of experience managing a high volume of contracts.
    • Efficient issue spotting in vendor agreements.
    • Exceptional attention to detail.
    • Effective communication skills within Legal and cross-functional teams.
    • BA/BS degree, preference for Masters or law degree.
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
    • Strong negotiation skills.
    • Organized with the ability to consolidate information.
Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in a large tech company, startup, or in the software/IT industry.
    • Knowledge of blockchain, experience in the blockchain industry, or desire to learn about blockchain technology.
    • Familiarity with legal and procurement tools such as Ironclad and Zip.
    • Experience in drafting SOPs/playbooks for agreement review processes.

Objectives of this Role
    • Drive sales efforts by researching, pitching, and closing users across various Web3 verticals like DeFi, CeFi, RWA’s, NFT’s, and more.
    • Lead conversations effectively about Chainlink oracles, blockchain technology, and industry-specific off-chain data and resources needed to trigger smart contracts.
    • Forge partnership with the leading smart contract & blockchain teams in the world to ensure the successful adoption of Chainlink as the industry standard.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Technical teams to successful onboard users with the best possible experience.
    • Maintain well organized, up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity reports.
    • Experience working within the Web3 space and or demonstrated command of Web3 protocols such as using DeFi, staking assets, DAO membership, trading NFT’s, etc.
    • 4+ years of professional sales or business development experience, especially within software, cloud, cybersecurity, or fintech.
    • Bachelor’s degree or exceptional work experience in a related role
    • Extremely organized, responsive, and customer-focused
    • Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of shifting priorities with emotional intellect
    • Passion for smart contracts and its power to change the world for the better
    • Experience selling technical offerings and interfacing with both business and technical counterparts such as developers
Preferred Qualifications
    • Professional work experience within Web3 and blockchain adjacent industries
    • Professional sales experience at a leading software, cloud, cybersecurity, or fintech company
    • Worked at a leading company that also underwent hypergrowth or scaling mode (1 to 100, 100 to 300, 300 to 1000 headcount etc)
    • History of getting promoted in prior sales roles

About The Role
Production Engineering provides horizontal connectivity across engineering verticals, partnering with engineering teams to champion the Reliability, Scalability, Performance, and Security posture of Chainlink Labs’s products and services. Product Engineers are hybrid software and systems engineers; who wear many hats to identify and bridge gaps, whether that’s infrastructure and software or teams and processes. We are seeking a passionate Engineering Manager to lead this growing team, focusing on supporting and growing the Product Engineering team.
Your Impact
    • As an Engineering Manager in Production Engineering, you will support Production Engineers who embed into Product Software Engineering teams focused on championing best practices from within. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Product PEs work shoulder to shoulder with the software engineers while leading the charge on operational ceremonies including On-Call, Post-Mortems, and Service Reliability Reviews.
Requirements
    • Experience working as or managing embedded SREs or PEs.
    • Exposure to high scale systems that support your company’s core business. Typically, these are the most critical services to the business.
    • Proven experience in identifying and removing toil (removing friction or other waste from processes) within teams or systems you have been responsible for.

Be the data engineer powering the solutions to a unique challenge — monitoring uptime and reliability of independent/3rd party oracle providers. Chainlink Labs is going through a transition from traditional time series-based monitoring toward an event-driven architecture and alerting approach. This transition is not only critical for monitoring but is also essential for delivering data for analytical workloads that support executive decision-making processes. You will have a significant impact as we grow the Chainlink ecosystem and ensure the best experience for our customers by ensuring reliable uptime.
You’ll develop and build highly scalable, secure, and reliable software that will change the way smart contracts function at a fundamental level. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and master the latest research concerning distributed systems, cryptography, blockchains, game theory, consensus algorithms, and decentralized applications.

Your Impact
    • Lead the design and deployment of data pipelines that power our real time monitoring/observability services to detect and alert the team of needed action.
    • Make recommendations to ensure sufficient metrics are collected to create alerts with every new feature release
    • Thinking creatively about attack vectors, possible failures, and disaster scenarios, modeling them in reproducible test environments, and developing fixes
    • Implementing resilient distributed systems to achieve extremely high reliability in a variety of blockchain environments
Requirements
    • At least 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer / DevOps engineer or equivalent
    • Professional experience with Golang
    • Experience with Kafka required
    • Experience with Apache Pinot would be nice, but not required
    • Deep knowledge of go or Kafka Streams apps (including Java/the JVM) a plus
    • Experience administering Kafka Connect, Confluent Platform, and/or Kubernetes is a plus
    • Experience with test-driven development and the use of testing frameworks
    • Strong communication skills, specifically giving/receiving constructive feedback in a collaborative setting
