We are redeveloping a web-based healthcare application from the ground up and need a UI/UX designer to lead the design effort. You'll help us validate and complete an existing wireframe and then translate key screens into a high-fidelity, responsive design using Figma. You'll be have access to our front-end developers and domain experts as needed. We anticipate the bulk of the work taking 4-8 weeks on a part-time basis and can start immediately. There is the potential for ongoing work as well, remote only.
Our client provides engagement and care management to patients on behalf of hospitals and other providers. Their clinical staff engages with patients who've been hospitalized, or have serious health conditions via phone, email, and secure messaging. Clinical staff is available 24 x 7 x 365 to contracted patients.
Our requirements are focused on creating a simple, elegant application user interface and experience. The system has no public components, so no need for SEO, marketing, optimizations, etc. The design should reflect the domain, UX best practices, and what's best for patients and providers.
We have existing brand assets and a simple, straightforward style guide. Figma is our design tool of choice, so you'll need to be comfortable using it. The app is react-based and we've standardized on Ant Design components. Thus you can use their Figma Design Kit as a starting point. The system itself uses Event Sourcing and CQRS, so bonus points for any experience with task driven UIs. To be clear, that's only a nice to have, not a need to have.
