Deploy Supplier Management Program and related strategies horizontally across the supply base and vertically within projects
Lead cross-functional teams comprised of stakeholders from customers and internal business units in the development and execution of sourcing and implementation strategies, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures and specific training programs for new and existing team members to utilize on a regular basis.
Optimize enterprise-wide buying power by reviewing the financial, quality, pricing, service, and availability of suppliers.
Source qualified suppliers and negotiate optimal contractual agreements
Execute effective supplier negotiations and event driven cost reductions to meet annual cost reduction goals.
Drive rationalization / optimization strategies to maximize category leverage.
Manage the RFP / RFQ and RFI process. Knowledge of sourcing tool desired.
Work with supply base and customers to drive quality, delivery, and continuity of supply.
Support the organization’s sense of urgency and ensure that it is aligned with sourcing strategy and customer requirements.
Drive continuous cost improvement, resolve critical supply issues, develop and establish new cost structure and terms.
Identifying key suppliers to deliver total cost of ownership (TCO) initiatives.

Solid project management and continuous improvement skills required.
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Business or related field.
CPM, CPIM certification a strong plus.
JEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 8-15 years of significant strategic sourcing experience with specific applied experience in dealing with commodity strategies and human capital management.
